Die extreme Rechte stellt eine wachsende Bedrohung für unsere Demokratie dar – nicht nur durch öffentliche Hetze und Gewalt, sondern auch durch gezielte Einflussnahme auf zivilgesellschaftliche Organisationen: von außen durch Angriffe und Einschüchterung, von innen durch Unterwanderung und Spaltung. Betroffen sind dabei sehr unterschiedliche Akteure – von Sportvereinen über die freiwillige Feuerwehr und Migrant*innenorganisationen bis hin zu Umweltorganisationen oder Gewerkschaften.
Das Institut für Bildungsrecht und Bildungsforschung e.V., An-Institut der Ruhr-Universität Bochum (IfBB) hat gemeinsam mit dem Deutschen Institut für Internationale Pädagogische Forschung (DIPF) 2012 den Deutschen Schulrechtstag (DSRT) begründet. Seit seiner 6. Auflage richtet das IfBB den DSRT gemeinsam mit dem Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung (WZB) und seit 2023 zudem mit der Bucerius Law School Hamburg aus.

Juni 2020, hat das Berliner Abgeordnetenhaus Rechtsgeschichte geschrieben: Mit dem Landesantidiskriminierungsgesetz (LADG) wurde zum ersten Mal in Deutschland eine einfachgesetzliche Grundlage geschaffen, um Diskriminierungen im Rahmen öffentlich-rechtlichen Handelns zu verhindern und eine Kultur der Wertschätzung von Vielfalt in der Verwaltung zu fördern.

Look forward to panels on topics such as gender, macroeconomics, and climate policy. Afterwards, we will award the best INSIGHTS Piece from the past four years as part of a slam. In this format, researchers present the results of a study in an accessible way and link them to current political questions and societal challenges.

Social media are driving polarization and outrage, fueling heated and often irreconcilable arguments. Spaces for discourse are narrowing and fragmenting, becoming emotionally charged.

Emerging literature studying temporary and permanent migration decisions expands the existing evidence on gendered migration desires, intentions, aspirations, and plans. Yet there remains a gap in understanding gendered aspirations from the perspective of the origin countries, especially regarding how socially defined factors interact with gender to affect migration aspirations.

Doch der ungebremste Umgang mit Ressourcen bedroht die ökologischen Grundlagen unseres Planeten. Die fortschreitende Umweltzerstörung und die potenzielle Gefahr eines Massenaussterbens von Tieren und vielleicht von uns Menschen machen ein Umdenken dringend notwendig.
