CV

Amro Ali was a visiting researcher at Global Governance from October until December 2015. He achieved his Master of Diplomacy from the Australian National University and was a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney. Amro Ali examined the crisis of political legitimacy resulting from cross-border institutions, and how this reflects in regime posturing and the socio-political dimensions of the public space at the WZB.

He has recently written for two edited books: Mediating the Arab Uprisings and Wired Citizenship: Youth Learning and Activism in the Middle East
