Competition and Innovation
Main content
The Competition and Innovation Group is a continuation of the Research Unit Competition and Industrial Change, CIC, which was founded in 1994 to conduct research in the area of industrial organization. The aim of this research is to develop new concepts and policy scenarios for fostering sustainable competitive structures in a world of technological change. In particular, competition in product as well as input markets is analyzed, while explicitly considering the political environment in which policy decisions are taken. Methodologically, CIG's research program is attempting to effectively link recent developments in theoretical industrial organization with econometric analysis.
